Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into therapeutic points along the body. These needles serve to stimulate the body's own natural healing ability to correct imbalances and restore it to a healthy equilbrium.

Structural Integration Practitioners and Certified Rolfers
Rolfing
• Developed over 50 years ago by Dr. Ida Rolf, Ph.D., Rolfing structural integration works on the web-like complex of connective tissue (fascia) to release, realign and balance the whole body.
• It can resolve pain and discomfort from many different causes, including those related to the lingering effects of trauma, back pain, repetitive motion injury and aging.
• Rolfing is also an excellent foundation for and complement to yoga, pilates and other personal wellness practices.
Structural Integration is a scientifically validated body therapy. Unlike massage, Structural Integration focuses not on the muscles but on their protective layer, called fascia (also known as connective tissue). Muscles are contracting tissues that give the body and organs physical movement. The fascia surrounds the muscles, bones and organs in the body. The fascia gives muscles their shape and the body its structure.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissue and joints of the body. The soft tissues include muscle, skin, tendons and associated fascia, ligaments and joint capsules. Massage has many diverse physiological effects, which are primarily due to the therapist's hands moving over the body. The different movements can physically stretch muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia, encourage the circulation through the tissue, inhibit muscular spasms and be either sedating or stimulating to the nervous system.

CranioSacral Therapists
CST was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts which is based upon the understanding that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system (especially the spine, and the nerves extending from the spine to all parts of the body). Chiropractic stresses the idea that the cause of many disease processes begins with the body's inability to adapt to its environment. It looks to address these diseases not by the use of drugs and chemicals, but by locating and adjusting a musculoskeletal area of the body which is functioning improperly. I only work with gentle chiropractors who have shown amazing work and healing abilities.

Energy Body Practitioners and Alternative Healing Therapies
According to ancient science, the body has seven major energy centers, or chakras. Energy flows in and out of the body through these major centers. The human energy field has an anatomy of its own, just like the human body. Energy healing works on the DNA cellular level to create balance and get your energy field in an optimal position, so you can heal.
Herbology
An Ancient Healing Tradition Brings New Opportunities to the WestIn recent years, the healing properties of natural herbs have received wide public attention and medical validation in the West. Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture comprise the two pillars of Chinese Medicine and naturally complement each other. However, the practice of Chinese Herbology is a healing system complete within itself. Chinese Herbology can also be used effectively with Western medical practices, both conventional and alternative.
Medical Intuitive
A Medical Intuitive is a psychic or intuitive counselor who specializes in perceiving information concerning the human body. A Medical Intuitive can energetically read the insides (organs, glands, blood, etc.) of our bodies. This work is done by intuitively scanning the body for areas or imbalance that may need alignment or treatment. Often times the Medical Intuitive will be able to explain the connection of the energy to an emotion or an event causing the illness.
